Our OPS team is hard at work managing an exciting and comprehensive project for the council at Hawera Business Park in South Taranaki. This development is more than just road construction—it’s a full-scale effort involving multiple services to ensure the area is primed for success.
One of the key steps in this project involves stabilising the soil to create a strong and reliable foundation for the new road. As seen in the photos, our team has been laying geotextile and geogrid materials, which are crucial for preventing erosion and providing added support to the soil. Once this stabilisation layer is in place, we carefully apply layers of AP65 and AP40 aggregate, building a robust base that will support the final road surface.
We’re thrilled with the progress so far, and it’s incredible to witness the transformation of this site as our team works methodically to build the road from scratch. Once complete, the road will be expertly sealed by Avenue, ensuring a durable and professional finish.
