The Directors of OPS have extensive experience in the construction industry. They started their careers working in New Zealand and Australia for large companies such as CML Group, Boral Gas and Dart Pipeline.

In 1999 the directors formed a company in Auckland, New Zealand known as Flush Plumbing Limited. To grow, the company saw the directors make the move back to New Plymouth in 2003.

Flush Plumbing Limited then grew from residential and commercial contracts to industrial due to an invitation by Transfield Worley Limited to be their Industrial Contractor. Offshore Plumbing Services Limited was created as another entity to separate and cater to the strict HSE requirements that are required by Transfield Worley NZ Ltd and Shell Todd Oil Services Ltd. They provide plumbing services onshore and offshore in accordance with the Engineering Services Contract they maintain with Shell Todd Oil Services Limited.

In recent years ongoing onshore work continued but the offshore sector quietened down so the company diversified in to subdivisions which involves civil work, laying of services, mains, storm-water, sewer systems and roading.

Because of this work Offshore Plumbing Services was granted Level One contractor status with the New Plymouth District Council for water connections. We are now one of only two companies with Level 3 Contractor Status.

As 2017 approached Offshore Plumbing Services Ltd was rebranded to OPS Limited to better convey the many services we can offer to our clients with our team of well trained, qualified and dedicated personnel.
